"A Change from the Usual"

Instead of the usual posts on a tech support board, I was in the mood to instead write it in a poem.
And for those of you that were curious, it turns out it was not a bug; announcements just don't count in the "Mark All Read" function.
This afternoon as I was yawning in class,
The sand moving slowly through the hourglass,
I decided I would go visit this Phorum,
Selecting Mark All Read for each single forum.
To my surprise as I had just finished up
Times two I spied one slight of a slipup
For in two of the forums that I could see
Each one had (1 new), how could this be?
I went back to each and selected again
Ah, "the best laid plans of mice and men"
For again I saw that each said (1 new)
And realized that this might be an issue.
In both forums was the same sort post,
An announcement about 5.0.10 topmost,
And as much as I clicked Mark All Read,
Nothing appeased my befuddled head.
